dc.description.abstract An approximate analysis is given of a turbulent wall-jet beneath a stream moving at constant velocity. The results of this analysis are used to predict the drag of a cylindrical afterbody immersed in the jet from a front fan with short cowl at subsonic flight speeds. Graphs are presented which allow rapid evaluation of afterbody drag for a range of jet pressure ratios and nacelle geometries. en_US
