dc.description.abstract The purpose of this note is to show the desirability of using a factor of safety of 1.5 throughout all design strength requirements, in particular in the first instance for all requirements directly connected with the symmetric flight envelope. Alongside this is shown the desirability of changing the flight envelope to agree more nearly, with results obtained in practice (from V-g records). en_US
