dc.description.abstract This report describes a moving base simulator investigation of the rolling requirements in turbulence of an aircraft on the landing approach. A typical swept fighter type aircraft was simulated and pilot opinions were obtained for differing values of the maximum rolling acceleration for full aileron and for differing levels of turbulence. Known aircraft were also simulated for comparison with the results of the parametric study. en_US
