dc.description.abstract Some comprehensive calculations of the flow conditions resulting from the intersection of a weak shock wave with a strong shock are presented and discussed, for a range of upstream Mach numbers between 1.4 and 2.8. Such flows are of interest in connection with the sub-critical stability of air intakes, for example, and in the interaction of shock waves and boundary layers. en_US
