dc.description.abstract A detailed description is given of a computer program for analysing the inviscid, subsonic compressible pressure distributions around the blades of axial, radial and mixed-flow turbomachines. The flow equations are combined to form a governing, Poisson-type differential equation for the stream function and the numerical solution is obtained by a finite difference matrix method. Solutions for several turbomachines, giving flow patterns and velocity distributions are included. en_US
