dc.description.abstract The occasional complete or partial failures of "X" type parachute equipment are, so far as is known, always associated with one or more of the three following faults:- 1. Somersaulting of the man. 2. Twisted rigging lines. 3. Tangled rigging lines. Present research and development work is primarily directed to reducing or eliminating these faults. en_US
