dc.description.abstract This report gives details of experimental observations on a 2-in. model jet. The observations consist of velocity distributions, root-mean-square pressure fluctuations in the field round the jet and space correlations of the fluctuating pressures in limited regions near to the jet. It is considered that the main interest lies in the space correlations which were observed by using fine-bore probe microphones and associated correlation equipment. en_US
