dc.description.abstract Available data on the pressure distribution around a hemisphere at supersonic speeds are reviewed with special reference to the differential pressure. A modified form of pressure coefficient is used which collapses the data down to low supersonic speeds, and suggests that the normalised yawmeter sensitivity can be made virtually independent of Mach number by suitable orifice location. en_US
