dc.description.abstract A description is given of the installation Of a single linear inertia exciter and multichannel recording equipment which was fitted to a Meteor aircraft for use in the development of flight flutter test techniques. The installation was designed so that either amplitude response or damping measurements could be made. Typical records and results are illustrated and the accuracy and capabilities of the equipment are assessed. en_US
