dc.description.abstract The theory of base-pressure prediction in two-dimensional supersonic turbulent flow is discussed, and, in the light of recent investigations of jet mixing, various modifications to the analysis of the flow model are suggested. A comparison is made of some reattachment criteria, and a Mach number ratio is proposed as a simple criterion, which correlates the experimental data satisfactorily. en_US
